Terms of use

These terms apply to Real Calorie Tracker on the web and in our iPhone and Android apps. By using it you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The service

Real Calorie Tracker helps you log food, plan meals, save recipes, share them with your family and track workouts. It's free to use. We may add, change or remove features over time.

Your account

• Give accurate details and keep your password private. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU and UK) to create an account.
• You can delete your account at any time from Account settings or Profile in the app.

Your content

Recipes, ingredients, notes and other content you add stay yours. You let us store and display them so the app works, including showing them to members of your family. When you import a recipe from another website, it's saved privately for you and your family. Please respect the original author's rights and don't republish imported content.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service. In particular, don't:

• try to access other people's accounts or data, or probe, scan or overload our systems;
• use the service to send spam or harass anyone, including through family nudges or high-fives;
• scrape the service or resell it.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Health information

Real Calorie Tracker gives general nutrition and fitness information. It isn't medical advice and isn't a substitute for a doctor, dietitian or other professional. Check with one before starting a diet, a training program, or any supplement or medication. Reminders are a convenience; don't rely on them alone for medication you need to take.

Accuracy of food data

Nutrition values come from public food databases and are calculated from them. We work to keep them accurate, but products, brands and recipes vary, so they may not match your food exactly. Check the label when you have one.

Availability and liability

We provide the service "as is" and can't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by relying on the app's information. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. If the changes are significant, we'll update the date at the top and let you know in the app.
